Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of the Medhark platform. By using Medhark, you agree to them.
Medhark is operated by Ankraj Ventures Private Limited ("Medhark", "we", "us"). "Platform" means our web application and mobile apps (Medhark, Medhark Staff and Medhark Parent) and related services.
1. Who may use Medhark
Medhark is provided to schools and educational institutions ("School") and to the administrators, teachers and parents authorised by a School. A School's administrator creates and manages user accounts. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
2. The service
Medhark provides tools to manage attendance, marks and report cards, fees, parent-teacher meetings, timetables, notices and related insights. We may add, change or remove features to improve the service.
3. School responsibilities
- The School is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data it enters, and for the way it uses the platform.
- The School is responsible for obtaining any consents required by law — including verifiable parental/guardian consent for children's data — before entering such data into Medhark.
- The School must ensure its users comply with these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) access data you are not authorised to access; (b) attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the platform's security or availability; (c) upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content; (d) reverse-engineer or resell the platform; or (e) use the platform to violate any law.
5. Fees & payment
Access to Medhark is provided on a subscription basis to the School, as agreed in the School's order or plan. Online payments (School subscriptions, and school fees collected from parents) are processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. As between the School and Medhark, the School is the Data Fiduciary for its student, staff and parent data, and Medhark acts as a Data Processor on the School's instructions.
7. Intellectual property
Medhark and all associated software, design and trademarks (including the Medhark name and logo) are owned by us and our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform during your subscription. The School retains ownership of its own data.
8. Availability & disclaimers
We work to keep the platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medhark will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by the School to Medhark in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Term & termination
These terms apply while you use the platform. A School may stop using Medhark in accordance with its plan; we may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or material breach of these terms. On termination, we will handle data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
